The first hint the gremlins had that something was amiss was when they spotted the radio squirrels racing through the trees. One ran out of branch and stood there for a solid minute, hovering in midair, only falling when he looked down.
It got weirder after that. Props appeared to make conversations more hilarious. Gremlins escaping via drawing tunnels on trees in paint. An alot accidentally ingesting a pill of "Acme Instant Girl" and becoming a curvaceous woman.
There was only one conclusion to come to: the gremlins had to immediate order All the Things from Acme and wreck havoc upon the island!
