The Perk- Thursday morning
There was something really cruel about being tired all the time, which Kitty was learning today.
She had a lot to do today and it mostly involved sitting in a quiet office by herself, so she stopped off at the Perk on the way. She stepped up to the counter and said, “I’m going to need your absolute biggest caramel god dammit wait, no, let’s try this again.”
So now she was standing at the counter, waiting for a cream-based but insanely sugary drink as a consolation, and sneaking a quick google search to make sure she didn’t have to give that up, too. Sure, the sugar crash was going to be even worse, but it’s be like a challenge to see how much she could get done before then.
