Trooper Station, Friday
Snowstorm or no, Liam did have a station to run, so here he was.
Making a minor concession to the cold in the fact that he didn't feel like waiting for water to boil for tea, and so was warming up with a cup of actual coffee (with a packet of hot chocolate mix dumped in, of course, but still).
"No," Liam sighed as the fifth Trooper came in to his office with a particular request. "There'll be no going outside to make snow angels until after your shift is over."

"If the snow was a person," she announced to the station as a hole, "I'd punch it right in its stupid, snowy face."
Hey, maybe around here, the snow was a person, and, for once, this place's weirdness could work to her advantage for once.

Not that he had anything to do with this particular incident, but he did have rather a special relationship with snow and ice, after all.
"There's coffee, if you need to warm up," Liam said mildly. There was always coffee. Today it wasn't even bad coffee, although maybe that was just because it was hot and outside was so cold.

"If there wasn't," she added, "I'd punch it, too."
She liked punching things, okay?

More than half of the 99th precinct's electronics had been "upgraded" this way.

"Only when I need to."
So....yes. Liam was correct in guessing yes.
