As the snow continued on throughout the night, the wind began to pick up in intensity. At some point, in that sweet spot between when all the night owls finally fell asleep and before the early birds began to wake, that wind managed to knock out Fandom's power supply. So by the time residents did begin to stir, they'd likely find themselves feeling just a bit chilly.

Thankfully, the magic of Fandom provided at least something of a reprieve from the cold: in the dorms, the Common Room televisions had been replaced by roaring fireplaces. The same was true of many of the residences in town unless you don't want a temporary fireplace.

As the day wore on, the storm continued to grow even more; there was thunder, and gale-force winds, and... look, going outside was probably not a very good idea, just saying.
