Luke's, Sunday
"Sure," the cook had told Kanan. "We're open today."
Well. Kanan was here, in spite of the, ah, pollen. And there was no kitchen staff. None. There was a note on the counter saying 'Easter Fools!' which meant basically nothing to him, besides that he was going to have to kick somebody's ass next Sunday.
Hell, he kind of felt like kicking somebody's ass today. He should have closed up shop and headed back home, but he was riled up and biting back several conflicting moods at once now, and he didn't want to subject Hera to that.
So.
Today's Specials:
Look, it's just me on staff.
I know how to make flatcakes. I have enough time to make flatcakes while also doing dishes and waiting and clearing tables.
That's what you get to order today.
Okay. You could probably order more than just the flatcakes, provided it was a quiet day and you were patient about it.
[OOC: Open! Family stuff SP, but I will have my laptop, so...]

Easter ham is nice, but it's no pancakes
And she included a picture of the Morphizer-Xe, because, yeah, that's something Rick would be okay with, his granddaughter poking around his garage laboratory and sending pictures of rare technology to random people she knew.
What she didn't include was the fact that she was thinking about using it to try and make her boobs bigger, because 1)why would he need to know that and 2) she wanted to see if he'd notice (assuming it even worked).
What? She was bored, okay?

Considering this was a man who had made life model decoys of his grandkids so that he could skip away to another reality in order to avoid family issues during his daughter's divorce, Kanan couldn't even begin to guess.

Which meant she was now going to ignore those petri dishes and idly shift through a cardboard box filled with what looked like time travel stuff (but wasn't, clearly, as it was labeled distinctly Not Time Travel Stuff on the box), trying to get her mind off the Morphizer-Xe.
family holidays r sooooooo lame. anything good happening there? i always miss the good stuff when i have to come home

Kanan was still a little sore about this, yes.
And there's something weird in the air again.

But there were more important questions here at the moment.
wtf is a sleemo??

Which Kanan figured was a perfectly reasonable thing to call them, all things considered.

So youre the only one there today? why didn't u just leave too?

Which was only partly the island's fault.

It was a more productive way of dealing with all of this than just going back and being awkward at her, at least.
