Parking Lot at the End of the Causeway; Wednesday Afternoon [04/04].
Everyone had a breaking point. And while Rosa's breaking point in most things was a very short distance to travel, she could usually take a lot in the way of all things sexual. She preferred to take a lot in the way of all things sexual, really, but, yeah, she was done. As soon as she opened up a supply closet hoping to find more pens and found two of the troopers attempting to make out with each other with their helmets still on, she knew she had to get out of here for a little while. Nothing against the act itself; whatever, it was what it was, but the final driving force here was the fact that she actually considered asking to join them.
Yeah, no.
If anything, she had a girlfriend that she kinda liked. And she'd kinda like to keep that girlfriend, too.
Besides, a three hour drive with her sweet ass motorcycle rumbling and thrumming between her thighs sounded like a pretty good thing right now, anyway. And then a nice little surprise for the girl once she got there to work out whatever sexual tension remained.
Just as she was about to kick the bike into high gear and speed down the causeway, though, her butt vibrated with an incoming message. One that immediately had her narrowing her eyes, glaring daggers at the phone.
Seriously, Peralta, out of all the times you think it's appropriate to send me pictures of your butt, this is one of the WORST you could have chosen.
Which was, of course, followed by a simple: New phone who dis?
So Rosa's trip out was going to be slightly delayed, as she was busy texting out an incredibly violent and creative response of what she could do to that butt that would make it very clear to anyone on the other end exactly who dis was.
[[and it's open (with my usual unpredictable work caveat)! I have plenty more B99 butts i can send to delay her further]]

"Oh, fuck, not you."
That was when she noticed Rosa.

Rosa looked up from her text, just in time, really, as the violence was starting to turn a little...we'll say kinky, and she snorted when she saw who it was. "What's your problem?" she asked, intending to go back to her text immediately after asking, but her gaze decided to linger a little. "They finally ban you from the Perk for being an asshole about your hot leaf water?"
no subject
She'd very much care.
Eyeing the bike, and possibly Rosa herself, she added: "Going back to where you came from?"
no subject
Yeah, Rosa wouldn't have been shy about that even without the pollen. Right now it just had the added bonus of maybe wanting to inspire certain feelings of envy. And if it didn't, with the pollen going on, then she'd be convinced that Seivarden really did have no fucking soul.
"Don't get too excited, though," she smirked, "still comin' back."
no subject
"Really? And you plan to come back after that?"
Seivarden would be so envious if she believed Rosa was actually telling the truth. Who in their right mind would come back to Fandom of they had a home and a hot lover to return to?
no subject
"Not right away," she amended, throwing in a scoff for good measure, a rev of her bike for dramatic effect. "Obviously. But I still have job here. I still got bills to pay. I'm badass, not an anarchist."
no subject
"And you can't get a job where your hot lover lives?"
Having to work here when she, unlike Seivarden, could leave, just confirmed Seivarden's opinion of Rosa. From the expression on her face and the tone of her voice that was obvious.
no subject
"You honestly think I'd stick around this piece of shit island if it was really that simple? I had a job there. Things got...complicated."
no subject
If she wasn't lying, and Seivarden was now suspecting she wasn't, it was really unfair. The universe; no, multiverse; was really unfair.
no subject
And of course Rosa had to find it extremely hot right now, too. It would probably take her, what, three seconds to just launch off this bike right now and do something about it, but, no...not here. Here would be terrible. If she were to go at it with this smug asshole, she'd want it to be somewhere where they could break things. Break lots of things. The troopers would have to bust in and find them there over a creaking table in various states of undress, surrounded by the rubble of destruction because someone had called in thinking it was a domestic dispute...
...Rosa realized she was spacing out, a crooked smirk on her face that would let anyone even slightly perceptive know exactly what sort of place her mind had gone to. And the she realized it, shook her head, and grunted, revved up the bike again.
"They appreciate it as much as you'd appreciate my foot up your ass," she offered, which didn't make much sense, whatever, but she knew she'd appreciate that. "What about you? Who'd you piss off to end up here? You can't convince me in a million years that you're actually here because you want to be."
She paused slightly before adding, "Never mind, I take that back. You do seem like the kind of person that gets off on just making everyone else around them completely freakin' miserable."
no subject
Right now, she reminded herself. Not later, definitely not later. And those incurable diseases that Sparkle had said people here contracted from having sex was a major turn-off, pollen or not.
She took a step backwards, stumbling on a small rock, and a couple of Radchaai curses followed. "If I could go home I would have left the moment I found that out," she said, sounding a little tired. "Right now," she waved a hand towards the causeway, "I'm just hoping Baltimore has a decent teahouse."
no subject
And maybe that's what loosened her up to make the offer she was about to make. She didn't even know why she did it, it just came out naturally, probably because she didn't suspect Seivarden would in a million years take her up on it.
"Wanna ride?" she asked, cocking her head behind her slightly toward the empty space on the seat behind her. "It's kinda on my way."
And, really, there were worse things than a hard body behind her with a nice purring one beneath her. They wouldn't even really be able to talk. It would be one of the few scenarioes where she might actually find this jerk tolerable. A subconscious olive branch of sorts, one in which she was getting a very clear, carnal benefit from.
no subject
Seivarden drew a breath, fidgeting. "Well, if you're offering."
It was just a ride across the causeway, nothing more.
no subject
Okay, maybe not so little. And she wasn't sure exactly what she was feeling so triumphant about, either.
"One rule, though," Rosa said. "No talking. One peep, and I toss your ass into the ocean."
It would take...some manuevering, but she thought she could manage it if she hit the breaks into a skid juuuuust right.
no subject
Seivarden had only seen one of these vehicles when she had been in Baltimore, but at least she knew how they worked. She hesitated though, looking away.
no subject
"Come on," she said, quirking her head again at the hesitation, settling herself down and scooting up a little closer to the handlebars to make a little more room. "I don't bite. Unless you're into it."
no subject
Why did it have to be someone so annoying?
no subject
Yeah. Just like that.
She revved the engine to get it going, shouting over the rumble. Get a good grip. This thing's only got one speed."
And she charged forward before even giving Seivarden a chance, speeding down the causeway to show that that speed was fast.
no subject
For now she was going to forget who this was and only enjoy being pressed against someone, for as long as the causeway lasted.
