Half the new stock that came in on Thursday were paper flowers. Octavia did not know why, and she wasn't sure she cared all that much, either. They were extra useless, as far as pretty flowers went.
She wrote Peter a note about them, all the same.
And spent half her shift picking one of the paper flowers apart. Petal by petal.
