When Miguel showed up today, the entire staff seemed half-asleep. While that meant they weren't getting up to much, it also meant they were out-drinking him in the coffee department and not up to making much special today. When he asked, the cook muttered something about being up way too early to watch the fascinators.

Miguel just shook his head, wrote out some simple specials, and got on with his own coffee-drinking.
