Syndulla Scrap, Friday
Kanan was in a better mood today, which meant that Hera was in a good mood, too. It was nice to know they didn't have to worry about one more thing.
It was also great weather, so instead of working on the Ghost's shields some more, she was up on top of her, doing assorted cleaning and tuning up, mostly for an excuse to be on top of the Ghost and enjoying the sunlight.
It also meant she could see the entrance to the scrapyard from where she was, so there was no need to rig an alert again. (Chopper was grumbling about that.)
The junk yard was open!

So she was checking things out from the entrance at first.

She wasn't worried about Sabine, though, now that Kanan had spoken to her, so she was waving from her perch on the Ghost and calling, "Hi! Be right there!"

She'd had to deal with the Falcon yesterday and was still a little mad about it.

She climbed down and headed over. "I like to keep her in good condition, though I'll admit today I'm mostly finding busywork to enjoy the weather. Come to check out our metal bits and dubious broken electronics?"

Wasn't like some of it hadn't made radio already. Stupid squirrels.

She led the way over to the dangerous things. "Stay away from those on the end; they're the biting ones. The flammables are over here."
[OOC: Feel free to mod whatever!]

Oh honey you have no idea.

"Chopper's...particular," Hera said. "But he's really good at what he does and he's a good friend, so it's best just to give him space when he needs it."

"Yeah." Hera grinned back at him. "He'll come around. Meanwhile, you're looking for...I'm guessing not parts for armor," because Mandalorian, and hers was better than any metal Hera would get here, "but things that you can use to upgrade weapons and things?"
She led the way to an actual building with a lock that held some metals that were less piled up than the others, and more carefully set aside apart from other things and each other. "Those are the things that seem volatile or are marked flammable. Actual parts I recognize as weapon chips and such are in a room over there."

She looked Sabine over. "It helps that Kanan vouches for you. I trust his judgment."

Those and ghost peppers. Fortunately, she had none of those around to offer.

"Why not? Might as well try new things while I'm here, right?"

She went into the little office off one side and got a couple cans out of the fridge there.
"Here." She handed one to Sabine and opened the other. "See what you think."

Don't ask how she'd found that one out.
"Anyway, you want some help looking through things, or should I just hang back and answer questions if I can?"
no subject
Like I thought these ones didn't bite or whatever.

"I'll be here," she promised. "Just let me know."
