"Okay, so I had a request for things with explosions," Peter said. "I asked around, and apparently this is a bit of a classic. Or at least prominent in popular culture."

He took a look around to make sure there were no gremlins to switch things out again this week.

"I also tried to pick something not really warlike or traumatic," he said, "but if it gets to be too much, I won't ask questions if anyone has to leave."

He nodded and started the movie.

Kanan was reaching for his regular popcorn-and-Coke combo, content to just kind of hang around for a while before the movie and visit.

Kaidan entered, bringing with him a large paper bag full of popped corn. Seeing the snacks already set up, he shrugged and set his bag near the fluffy kernels that had already been set out.

"Hey Kanan," he greeted, "This is the thing you were telling me about?"

He hoped. It would be a little embarrassing to be in the wrong place, but he'd roll with it.

Seivarden grabbed her own bowl of popcorn as usual, and a beer to go with it, then found a seat, ignoring Kanan.

Liam had been informed on no uncertain terms that his pop culture knowledge was... lacking.

Look, it wasn't his fault it was all secondhand and he'd just never had the time to seek any of the source material out!

Except now he did have time, so here he was. Seeking it out.

Kanan didn't really get some of the Christmas references, which made it 'Christmas movie' enough for him, anyway.

All the same, it was a pretty good time.

"I need to remember that yippee ki yay thing."

It was catchy.

"Is this some kind of genre here?" she asked, as if Kanan hadn't spoken.
