Kitty wasn't having a great day when she cane in to work. She didn't feel great, every little thing that could go wrong had, and she might've just stayed home except that whole "halfway to baby" thing meant she was freaking out a little bit so she was here for money and distractions.
And when she got in, Tino was herding a group of adorable, tiny puppies on the bartop. Apparently they'd just popped up not long after he got in so they were probably temporary, but whatever, any interaction with Kitty would be done while cuddling a puppy.
[I'm having a terrible brain day so I'm living vicariously through my character. Open, play with puppies!]

Moments like this made Rosa wonder if she was only here because the paperwork for Peralta's dream assignment had gotten messed up.
"That's probably the cutest health violation I think I've ever seen," she stated. Not a complaint, just an observation.

"Tino does know that that's not what people mean when they say 'hair of the dog,' right?"

"Yes," she said, reaching out to take the little dummy off Kitty's hands.

Why wasn't she going to the bar more often?
Why was there puppies in the bar?
"Don't tell me you serve those?"

"The only thing I've tried so far on this planet is whisky and beer, and I really need to get drunk. What do you recommend?"
She took a seat on one of the stools, and leaned against the bar.

When she'd been out drinking with Sparkle she'd ordered a whole bottle of whisky. That had clearly been the wrong thing to do.

Rosa needed to find herself a new bar night. Although she couldn't think of how it could get worse next week.
And yet...and yet, when she could have just sat there with her drink and her cuddly bar puppy and just ignored that Seivarden even existed, she just...had to say it.
"Don't think they do hot leaf water on tap, dude."

"You like dogs then?" she nodded at the puppy.
no subject
"I don't hate them," she offered, free hand scratching behind the puppy's ears. And, really, that was pretty high praise from her.
no subject
"No? Is there anything you like?"
no subject
See? There were four things she liked and she didn't even have to think that hard to come up with them!

She emptied her glass again.
"What kind of weapons?"
If she said swords Seivarden would judge her.
no subject
"And good weapons," she added. "Guns, knives, swords. Nun-chucks, axes, ninja stars..."
That was...pretty much...most weapons, Rosa. But, well...most weapons were good weapons.
