Astrid had the sneaking suspicion that the inordinate amount of red, white, and blue plants in the store today had nothing to do with any of the other employees getting patriotic for the holiday tomorrow. She was almost certain that it was just the shop and the flowers doing it themselves.

Which was crazy.

So don't mind her as she ignored the plants that were literally starting to change colors before her eyes in favor of reading something slightly less insane.
