Groovy Tunes seemed to dislike the heat too, because it was pleasantly cool inside and the stereo played songs about winter. Breq didn't care that much about the temperature outside, but had to admit that it was easier to get work done, so she was unpacking new deliveries and shelving them. She choose a few CDs for herself to pay for with her employee discount, and took breaks to play the bass. It was a very pleasant day, and customers were welcome to just escape the heat. Breq would even offer them tea.
