Peter smiled and waved at everyone before they got started. There were, as usual, popcorn and drinks available.

"I decided that six classes wasn't nearly enough to try to figure some things out, so I thought we'd do this again," he explained. "Introduce yourself if we don't know you, and then we can watch a movie."

Once anyone that had decided on introductions did them, he pressed play and settled in.

It was Thursday evening. Where else would Kanan be?

He was sitting back and drinking a Coke, mostly just enjoying the return to the routine as he'd gotten used to it.

Kaidan looked forward to Social Activity Night. It hadn't occurred that it was a class and it might not happen, until Peter said it. He grabbed a soda, and after a second thought, a bowl of popcorn glistening with butter.

When the movie title screen came up, he looked around the room at the audience and leaned over to nudge Kanan. "You think Peter's trying to tell us something?"

Kanan squinted a little at the screen.

"If I'm remembering the movie right, what he's telling me is mostly that I need a crappier ship."

He really didn't trust this movie at all. It made him want to crawl out of his skin, being far too on-the-nose.

"Wouldn't miss it," Kanan replied, lifting his Coke at him in return. "So, what's on the schedule for tonight?"

Seivarden had her own popcorn bowl as usual, and a bottle of coke to go with it. She had run our of tea, and had realized she'd probably have to go to the mainland to buy more, and thus wasn't in the best of moods.

"You do know," said Amaya, trying not to smirk too much since it was pretty clear that Seivarden wasn't in the best of moods and she had a good hunch as to why thanks to her broadcast, "we can do special orders at Turtle & Canary, right, Captain?"

Seivarden looked up, surprised.

"Special orders?"

She didn't immediately get what Amaya meant. It was nice to be called captain though, even if it strictly speaking wasn't what she was anymore. She wasn't going to point that out though, just let it cheer her up a little bit.

Amaya hadn't had the chance to express the hope for it at their last meeting, but she was pretty glad Peter'd decided to continue the course. Not only did she like having things to do, but she also liked routine, she liked the people taking the class with her, and she liked seeing what kind of movies would show up...even if she didn't always like the movies themselves.

So she was there, grabbing a beer and a popcorn and ready to unwind after a day of testing the new forge, a small smudge of grease on her cheek that she'd missed when she'd washed up after.

If a tinier Hardison hadn't shown him this already back when they were teens, Kanan probably would have been utterly gobsmacked at the blowing up of meta for Alderaan.

... As it stood, he still grimaced, and then settled back to quietly nitpick basically everything about this movie. Because some similarities were just far too uncanny for him to just let slide so easily.

Kaidan listened to Kanan's critique, because hey, he wanted to learn about the dude's world and this movie was apparently similar enough it had Kanan right on a knife's edge of annoyance. This was not a time for bro commentary, but it was a time to offer him a bag of sugar-coated gummi orange slices, since he sounded like he needed something to bite.

So, blowing up planets made Seivarden really uncomfortable. She had been at Garsedd after all - until he ship blew up - and she preferred not to think about it. She hadn't been one of those captains who had refused to obey the order and been shot for it, but she still wasn't sure it had been justified. No, she was fairly sure it wasn't, which was problematic in a different way.

Yup. It was official. Amaya definitely needed too look into spaceships.

And a small part of her might have been wondering if she could pull it off if she tried to do something that fancy with her own hair.

Blowing up that planet was pretty messed up, though. Seems like, even in space, wizards were jerks.
