The Perk - Friday
Coffee was necessary for life. Kaidan left Nate with the store and headed to the Perk, feeling only a little guilty that he wasn't going to the tea store. T42 had, he'd discovered, absolutely terrible coffee that no amount of flavor shots or sugar could fix.
Almost stumbling his way to the counter, he quietly ordered a giant frozen coffee confection. He chatted quietly with the baristas as he paid and tipped them. Collecting his ...beverage... he made his way to one of the comfy chairs and flopped into it.
It had certainly been a week. A very full week. He was looking forward to the peace and quiet of the weekend. Surely the universe loved him enough to let him have a nice, quiet weekend.
