Trooper Station, Friday
There was an unsettling feeling of foreboding in the air, today.
Something was happening. Liam didn't know what, yet, or where, only that it was. It would be a busy weekend, he was sure.
Unfortunately, the station seemed to be doing its level best to distract him from whatever was brewing, as every time he opened a drawer or a cupboard, music blasted out.
Finally, with an aggrieved sigh, he put sticky notes on each and every drawer/cupboard/locker/etc "DO NOT OPEN UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY".
He was really damned tired of hearing that tune.
[ooc: open. please distract me.]

But the sticky notes were definitely something that required at least a moment of turning to Kincaid, hitching her thumb toward one, furrowing her brow, shaking her head, and looking generally confused-curious. A clear question about what was up with that without even having to use any words, if she could help it. Sometimes, she did know how to keep her mouth shut...

"Go ahead," he said, resigned. "If you must." Which was probably enough information for Rosa to figure out that whatever was happening was simply annoying and not actually dangerous.

"What's wrong with them?" she asked.
Well, there goes her super-mature silent-treatment plan.

Now, Rosa was smart; very few people would be able to successfully contest that. So she had a pretty good idea of what Kincaid meant. It was just too incredibly stupid, even in this place, for her to want to believe it.
So she turned around, opened the nearest drawer of a filing cabinet, and, sure enough...
"Ugh!" Rosa shut the file cabinet quickly with a slam, making a face that showed just what she thought of that lovely, lovely sound. "What the hell? Is that the island, or did one of the troopers do that?"
She hoped it was a trooper. She could kick a trooper's ass. The island, not so much.

Sorry, Rosa.
