Alluka bounced into work and then paused, blinking at the sign that was on the back wall, behind the counter.

That… that was new.

But Alluka could obey it, at least! Laughing, she set her bunny down on the counter and went to find something to wear.

What she ended up wearing wasn't exactly sparkly, but she was pretty sure it fit the theme anyway, though she was going to spend some time considering the nail polishes and make up, to see if she felt like--

Oooh! Maybe she'd stick a few star stickers on her cheek! Or would that be too much?

Her bunny was no help at all in deciding this.

Sparkle was coming in at least partly to grab some clothes for his date tomorrow (AAAAH) and partly to check up on a certain someone. Guess which took priority?

She beamed at him, looking up from her serious consideration of nail polish versus star stickers.

"You like it?" she asked hopefully.

No, Alluka, he hated it. Obviously.

"Girl, look at you, I swear you fell right out of like one of those cartoons with the brightly-coloured animals who are all about hugging and happiness?" Sparkle grinned. "I love it. Oh my god. I want to hug you for like a week."

A pause.

"Where's my hug, anyway?"

Honestly, half the fun of writing Alluka is picking out clothes for her to wear. Even if it means I get so, so many emailed suggestions for Lolita-style clothes for myself.
