Community Center Class: Modern Earth Entertainment

Peter smiled at everyone from the front of the room. "As I promised, today is the sequel film to last week's. It was made seven years after the first one, and set a lot longer after that. You'll see what I mean. It's also a pretty well-received and major film, and again, action instead of romance, and no teenagers, although there is one kid. There's plenty of snacks and popcorn, so please help yourself, and enjoy."

There's food and there's people!

Amaya still liked both those things. One far more than the other, but she was definitely warming up to the other, especially the ones in this class. So she was grabbing some popcorn and a drink, excited for this week's prospects considering she'd enjoyed last weeks very much ~~despite the mun not getting around to pinging as much~~.

Fenris was wearing modern Earth clothing and feeling distinctly at odds with it. Belted jeans with boot-cut legs hung to almost the floor. A long-sleeved gray knit shirt covered his torso and hid the tattoos that weren't on his face. He was wearing neither shoes nor armored gauntlets. He missed the gauntlets. The shoes still felt weird.

He decided to try one of the cans. It was an interesting shade of green, kind of the color Fjord turned when he found some new horror on the internet.

He scooped some of the popcorn into a bowl and then poked at it curiously with a finger.

"Haven't had popcorn yet?" Peter asked.

Of course he brought another monstrositea.

Pumpkin spice, of course. He'd found a recipe for the Barry Plotter pumpkin juice, added black tea, and then mulled it.

"What is it this time?" Peter asked.

Fjord was absolutely here for the people. The food... he didn't entirely trust, but the popcorn seemed to be decent enough.

He was eyeing Kaidan's tea again, though. Was it supposed to be that... orange?

There's plenty of death and kick-assing!

A sequel to last week's movie? Yes, please! Peter was definitely making up for all the musicals and romances now, and even gaining some points where she might not even complain too much about the next one.

And do not even get her started on that power loader, she didn't even care what time it was when they got out of this thing, she was going straight to the workshop after this.

Well, she would be going straight there anyway now that she lived there, but that's not what she meant.

Oh good, more Darkspawn getting dead! He eyerolled at all the obvious rookie mistakes the human warriors were making. The main female character, though. There was something of a Grey Warden about her. The determination, the ferocity.

He liked her. She could stay.

Kaidan watched the movie and reminded himself that they were not Rachni. Rachni had never attacked human colonies. During the Rachni Wars, there had been no human colonies.

When the Xenomorph Queen came onscreen, he winced a little. Not based on his reality. Not the Queen he'd met. He had no problem with that Queen. She hadn't done anything like this. This was not what Rachni did anymore..

... At least there wasn't any creepy abusive song lyrics. There was that.

Even if he was judging their tactics with the eye of someone who could have come up with a better one in about five minutes.

He's around!

"Hey, Peter," Kaidan greeted him, "Are you busy on Thursday?"

"Not so far, why?" Peter asked.

I have no brain today.
