Furnado Animal Shelter; Thursday [09/27].
Sidon arrived at the shelter empty-handed this week, which suited him fine, because even simulated creatures in the Danger Shop were a delight. It did mean, too, that no particular group was especially sleepy or tired, which made things more exciting, and he also took some time to get to know the new lizard that had joined the menagerie, always pleased to see more scales represented amidst all the fur.
Of course, showing up empty-handed this week did make Sidon feel a peculiar sense of slacking off, even though it had only become a part of his job since the start of the semester. He knew it was fine, of course, but he still couldn't quite shake off the feeling, so he dedicated himself to an extra and necessary task that he imagined he wouldn't mind nearly as much as the vet or Zack, and that was taking some extra time this week to clean out and freshen up some of those fish tanks, which only served to remind him that his own tank was probably due for a cleaning soon, too.
