Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [10/02].
Astrid was actually hoping that some of the plants would be doing something wild or crazy or stupid for her shift today; that should tell you all you needed to know about the state of her mind. But, of course, the one day when she really longed for any distraction, no matter how ridiculous, was the day that the shop seemed almost aggressively normal and quiet and boring. Not even any music from them, which was probably the most simple of the weird things they did and easily her favorite.
But at least that gave her an opportunity to bust out her watercolors; it was a bit easier to really capture the hues and the lights and shadows of the flowers when they were managing to stay still for a change.
