Trooper Station, Friday

"Liam... my grandfather's name was Liam."

"Well, maybe we're related?"

"No. I would know. Genealogy is very important to me."

The dreams had come again last night, though by the time Liam made it in to the Trooper Station, the energy on the island had- settled, somehow. He wasn't sure how else to describe it.

In any case, the mood at the Trooper Station was distinctly subdued, today. Even the Troopers themselves seemed to have picked up on it, as they were just... going about their work with little to no complaints.

Hell, even Rosa was noticing it, though it distracted her from her work more than anything, and she was actually trying to do some, to catch up on all the random stupid endless paperwork this place demanded so it didn't come around to bite her in the ass for taking next week off for that dumb school trip.

Which she wondered if she should have opted out of, because being a chaperone sounded lame as hell, but, come on. A free trip was a free trip, especially when she'd just dropped a load of money on a different trip.

"Something weird's going on, isn't it?" she asked. "Something about these last few days have felt..."

She, too, was obviously having difficulty describing it.

"...weird."

"No." Rosa shook her head a little, as if she had any sort of authority over these things whatsoever. "I don't like it. I've had enough weird already this week."

Ha. Good one, Kincaid. Rosa volunteering information under anything less than torture.

She shrugged. "Not really. But it''s Friday and it''s quiet-weird. Not zany-stupid weird. So I'm already mentally preparing for a busy weekend...good luck on Monday, though, I'm not going to be here."

Her malicious grin was focused at the troopers, though. That's right, you helmeted jerk-offs, enjoy all that paperwork while she was off enjoying a free trip to Greece. Buttheads.
