So, the island was quiet because most of the usual population was off on the fall trip, which Summer was kind of feeling like she maybe could have worked a little harder to try to finangle a guest spot with someone to go, but...coulda, shoulda, woulda, too late now, right? So then it was just a matter of trying not to be too bored, which was difficult, since there wasn't even that much going on at the store, and she'd even thought about seeing what Grampa Rick and Morty were up to because some rando adventure doing god-knows-what would still be better than just hanging around being bored.

They hadn't gotten back to her yet, though, those jerks.

And while she figured most of the usual suspects were probably on that vacation, Summer did enjoy the onsen for more than just the eye candy, thank you very much, so she figured she'd start her day out there with a nice relaxing soak, and then go check in on the store, and then maybe hitch a portal home to see if she could make Grampa Rick and Morty do something interesting to help her kill the next few days. Or maybe now that there was a little space away from the weekend, start poking BDG about another trip out to his galaxy like they kept talking about but she kept having to put aside due to being a responsible adult and/or having to deal with unexpected brothers coming back from the dead.
