Fandom Post Office, October 30 (Tuesday)
The bats were no longer flying out of the mailboxes sporadically, much to the relief of Éponine and the rest of the post office staff; the guano had been quite the bother to clean up.
There was, however (and much to Éponine's delight), approximately a large litter's worth of black cats that kept lounging around the lobby, occupying every patch of sunlight and free bit of counter space possible.
Which was why, in consideration of people with allergies, there was a large hand-lettered Beware of Cats sign in the front window -- beneath which at least one black cat was snoozing at any given time.
[[No OCD, but open with usual chance of daytime SP! I would like to have that many more cats myself.]]
