Furnado Animal Shelter; Friday [11/02].
The day had started pretty normal at the animal shelter, with Prompto checking in to see what needed to be done, getting that done....eventually, thanks to many detours to greet and snuggle with the animals...doing a few reps with some dog food bags to get that under his belt, the usual stuff. It was kind of gloomy out, and some of the animals were pretty antsy, too, so when it started to rain a little later, Prompto figured that was what had gotten them all riled up. Animals were supposed to sense things like that, right? But a lot of them didn't particularly like the rain, either.
So the day started pretty normal, and ended with Prompto and about half the animals gathered underneath a makeshift fort in a far corner of the shelter, where he'd put together a nice, comfortable spot with all the different pet beds and cushions on the shelf so that they could all find a little more comfort and escape from the stress of the approaching thunderstorm.
Sure, it wouldn't really get going until after Prompto's shift was about over, but he thought maybe he'd just stick around and help the animals, especially the puppies, cope through it. It wasn't like he had anywhere else to be or anything else to do, and he really didn't like the idea of just leaving the few really scared ones to fend for themselves. There were worse places to spend the night than in a blanket fort made of pet beds, snuggling with a few shaky bois.
