Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Friday [11/09].
Plenty to do in the shop today! Well, even when there wasn't plenty to do in the shop, Amaya would find plenty to do, but in this case, it was the truth. In addition to working more on Zack's sword, she loaded up a wheelbarrow with the practice swords for Kanan with the intention to swing by the warehouse to drop them off like she intended to do weeks ago but, whoops, FORGOT like a dummy as she set the sword to cool a little before the next shaping. She supposed she could just bring the practice weapons with the assortment Diaz had asked for for her class on Tuesday, but she only had the one wheelbarrow, and it would take two trips anyway, if not three.
She'd take them all over today, but, after a whole week with her display wall looking a little sparse due to the whole heist thing, she didn't want to remove them all again until she had to. There were few things she liked to see quite so much as a wall full of weapons, and not a whole lot of things she considered more sad than a wall without them.
The Forge is open!

Tuesday, man.

And, boy, this sure put a bit of a damper on her plans to just never mention it again.
"Ah," Amaya set down her hammer, offered a small swipe of her hand in a way. "Hey, there, Kaidan." Extra emphasis on his name there instead of an unfortunate but not wholly inaccurate nickname? No, not at all! "Right as rain, never better! How about...er...you?"
Or his shirts, rather.

"About to head through the portal home for the weekend. I was wondering if you'd had a chance to work on the little spike balls we'd talked about? For the tracking devices?"

He looked around with a lopsided smile. The forge had come a long way from the last time he'd seen it, when the walls hadn't even been finished.

You know.
A few.
"There we go," she said, resurfacing, brushing her hands together. "I knew they were there somewhere. Couple different sizes, you can see, I started trying to get progressively smaller, I remember you said small would be good, right? Still think I could go smaller, but I've had enough other projects coming in to distract me from really gettin' 'em down."
