If she was completely honest, Rosa was still a little weirded out about the whole 'coffee in all the desk drawers' thing, but she was even more weirded out by the fact that there was absolutely no indication that it had ever happened by the time Monday rolled around.
Bone dry. Nothing coffee-logged or stained. Even the smell of all that stale, lukewarm coffee had mostly dissipated.
So much for her plan of just dumping all of her incoming paperwork into the drawer so that when she got in that Monday, it would be unsalvageable due to coffee damage. But there it was, sitting in the previously coffee-filled drawer, waiting for her, perfectly dry, not even remotely ruined.
Until she...'accidentally' knocked over her coffee mug, which just so happened to spill right into the drawer.
"Oh, no," she said, "it's still happening. What will we do now."
Literally none of that paperwork served any purpose that she'd noticed so far, anyway, right? Which was another one of those little things that made this place feel a little more like home.
