Fandom Post Office, November 13 (Tuesday)
As a general rule, Éponine expected things at the post office to be a bit busier than usual on the Tuesday after a holiday. That was only common sense, after all, and she hadn't been around here for this long to not know it.
This did not mean, precisely, that she was prepared for the specific occurrence of having a pile of mail dumped on her head after materializing out of thin air. Not the first time it happened, at least; by about 10 AM she'd taken to holding a mail bin on top of her head as she moved around the post office, a resigned but put-upon expression on her face.
It at least reduced the amount of tidying up she had to do. She'd take it.
[[Open post is open at your own OCD-less risk. Watch out for falling mail.]]
