Zack was quiet at work today. The animals weren't. For whatever reason, they all seemed to be singing.
Well. Barking, meowing, chattering, squawking...
Making noise. So much noise.
Zack was going to leave them to it, though. He was distracted with something, poking around the Portalocity website, trying to book a ticket.
It kept rejecting his credit card, telling him to phone in or go talk to a representative in person. And he would happily phone, but... all the animals were singing.
He sighed and thumped his forehead on the counter, and then just kind of stayed there for a long while. Why? Why today?
