Community Center Class: Modern Earth Entertainment

"Hi, everybody. The action movies seem to go over pretty well," Peter noted. "So I thought we'd try a related kind of movie and see how you like it. Heist movies - where the people in them try to pull off some sort of elaborate scheme, usually with some kind of action - are a pretty fun genre, and this is thought of as one of the best. It's been pretty influential over the years. It's got a lot of famous actors in it, too, just...in case you care." Since nobody here was likely to recognize them.

"Anyway, I hope you enjoy it."

Fjord was absolutely here for the popcorn, yes. And appreciating being able to actually pick it up this week without getting seawater everywhere, too.

Looking forward to not spending the evening in a corner hammering at imaginary swords instead of watching the movie and having conversations that might actually make sense, Amaya was happy to grab some popcorn and a drink and get settled in.

Admittedly, Fjord was mostly here for the popcorn. But he watched the movie with an outward sort of vague interest. It was possible that he was taking mental notes.

Having had a chance to be in on some of the 'heist' plans for Diaz's class, Amaya was pretty interested to see how it would play out in a movie, and she also felt it wouldn't hurt to pay attention so that maybe she could offer some suggestions or thoughts next time, too.

Because Diaz had definitely made it very clear that there would be a next time.
