Furnado Animal Shelter; Friday [11/30].
Prompto was starting to think that his shifts at Furnado were going to very quickly become just as much a mystery game about figuring out just exactly what Sidon had been up to the day before as it was about taking care of the animals and doing things like stocking shelves and taking care of things that might be coming in. At least this time, it wasn't so much that his coworker had been slacking off so much as the fact that Prompto was now finding the most random things in the most bizarre places, enough so that he thought maybe it had nothing to do with the Zora and was just the island being the island.
He supposed he'd wait until next week, to see how things went. If it was a normal day next week, then he'd chalk it up as a non-issue, but if not...dude, come on.
Like, seriously, was that a stapler buried in all the pet beds? And what was up with all the hand-sized, hexagonal green gems he was finding literally everywhere? It almost felt like a treasure hunt, once Prompto realized there were several of them buried in various spots around the shelter, which he didn't really so much mind, especially since he was pretty sure he was hearing a little fanfare every time he inadvertently uncovered one, which either meant he was going crazy or that life here on this planet was more like a video game than anyone would give it credit for.
He didn't want to complain or anything, of course, because that was pretty awesome, but rupee hunting was a distraction that Prompto did not need right now when he should be, you know, working.
Furnado is open!

He couldn't help smiling fondly at the memory of little Tiny, later revealed to be Pryna, the very start of everything good that ever happened in his life.
"And the beds are right over there, by the toys," he cocked his head over the bag of food. "I'm gonna go set this over by the counter, you two can get started at looking, but, uhhh, keep an eye out for weird green gems as you're checking it out; I think I managed to find all of 'em, but I could have missed a few."

"Sounds good!!!!!!!!" Nina chirped, already heading off in the direction of the beds. Then she paused. "Are, like, the gems dangerous????????"
no subject
Because of course she did.

"They're not dangerous," Prompto sounded almost apologetic about it, too, "at least not as far as I can tell. They're just confusing and were everywhere for no reason whatsoever."
There had, actually been a very good reason, if anyone were to ask Sidon and the fox, it, of course,no one had.

They didn't really want to be fighting with the puppy around, right?
"But that just means we'll have to find danger somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!" Nina, no. "Vette, let's look at the beds!!!!!!!!!!"
