Peter greeted everybody with a cheerful wave. "You may have all noticed the holiday things going on lately. The holiday's the reason all our swords are candy canes - they'll probably be fine tomorrow - and we've had all the other weird things lately. Christmas is a big thing around here, and there are a lot of Christmas movies. I sort of went to a whole list and pointed at one. I'm not sure how classic it is, but Santa Claus is an integral part of Christmas in this country and some others, and there's always been a magical element to it, though this story is...not the usual one, from what I can tell. I hope you enjoy it."

Amaya was just narrowing her eyes at those candy canes, shaking her head in disgust.

Don't get her wrong, she liked them just fine. They were really great, actually, usually, but they also usually weren't what most of her weapons went and turned themselves into, either, so for today, she was not a fan.

"Not everything," Amaya admitted with a sigh, "but all the shiniest stuff. Blunt weapons seem to be unaffected, but it's nice to know at least my work also makes for some quality confections. I do hope it's just for the day, though, or else I might have to start getting really annoyed."

"Yeah," Amaya couldn't exactly argue with that one. "Still riding a little too close to the last time it changed all my hard work for my comfort, though."

"Well, that was when most of the island went all wee and tiny," Amaya shook her head. "I at least was spared that particular curse this time around, but my weapons, unfortunately, were all still turned into toys. Guess it's a safety precaution, not letting all those kids running around with real axes and swords."

Fenris gave the candy canes a completely disgusted look and turned his back on the lot.

This movie, Amaya decided, was fairly tolerable. Certainly not without its confusing parts, sure, but tolerable. And while it didn't do much to help clear up her idea of Christmas, it definitely confirmed in her brain the standard she didn't even know she already had to not put on the clothes of anyone falling off her roof in the future.

Well, it was still too early to tell on that last part, but Amaya felt she could give a decent assessment at the first.

Christmas movie. Not enough explosions. How accurate is it that you're forced to become Santa Claus if he falls off your roof and you put on his clothes?

Amaya was really fixating on the whole clothing thing, she didn't know why.

Fenris watched the movie a little grimly. It was supposed to be funny, he understood that, but he considered it research into the mind of the fat man in the red suit who was in charge of all these calamities.
