Furnado Animal Shelter, Tuesday
Today had been going pretty well at the shelter, right up until Zack went to the roof to feed the chickens.
He'd been caught in the snow, you see.
"-- And I, SOLDIER 1st Class Zack Fair, will protect each and every one of you, come what may! Oh, you roosters might think you've got it handled. I see you all strutting around like you own the place. But not a single one of you can compare to the might of SOLDIER. I've fought dragons, you know! And gods! I command the power of Ifrit and Odin!"
He was going to be here for a while. The snow wasn't letting up and he hadn't fed the chickens yet. The vet would be happy to assist you downstairs until he came back down from up there, though.
