Peter waved at everyone and gave them a little smile. "Hi there. Hope you're all enjoying the glitter snow. Today is the last day of the semester, and for the school classes, that means a final exam." He shrugged. "We're not even really a class, let alone the kind that needs an exam. Still, I thought it deserved something a little special. So today, I'm giving you a movie that's pretty well-loved, and that calls out to a lot of other Earth entertainment, but that should still be fun if you don't get the references. It'll just be a lot weirder." He paused. "Which is probably saying something. Anyway, enjoy!"

Amaya was helping herself to her customary snacks and drinks, though perhaps she felt a bit more like she'd especially deserved them today at first.

Well. Truth be told, for a moment or two there, she felt she rather deserved a bit more on their last day, honestly, Peter...! Really.

All the space-related films would always throw Amaya off a little by principle alone; it was just so far beyond her ken of experience, though she did find the tech and machines fascinating. But this one had her curiosity well enough with the bizarreness of it.

And while she'd gotten better about some of this stuff, she really, really, really couldn't help jeering when they revealed what this mysterious other element was. If she hadn't already finished her popcorn by the time they got to that part, she'd have definitely thrown some at the screen, because, zounds, love? REALLY? Ugh.
