The Park, Wednesday Evening

It was snowing!

Had been snowing for a while, actually. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. Which Bobby was pretty pumped about.

He was less excited about the power being out, because that meant no TV or video games. Or central heating, but the cold had never bothered him anyway.

So what was a teenager without access to entertainment that required electricity to do but go outside and find other ways to keep from moping about his roommate going home entertain himself?

Like using the massive amounts of snow to create a bunch of ice golems. Which he then made dance, of course.

[ooc: mostly establishy, but also could be open! these are NOT your unfriendly snow monsters, those will be arriving later. this is just ~coiiiiiiincidence~. yeah, nu, i copied you. shhh, bobby is totally a disney princess TOO.]

After leaving the forge, Fenris went for a walk.

Ok, look, he got lost. Flat out, utterly lost in the snow. The power was out, there were no street lights, and even had there been, the snow was coming down thick and fast and furious. When he reached the park, he finally got his bearings.

Just in time to see a bunch of ice golems.. dancing? Dancing.

"What in the name of Andraste's frozen, peaked pale pink TITS?!"

That was nowhere near creative cursing. That was his old standby. "I saw the movies those dances came from. You are neither welders nor do you have proper spirit fingers!" Fenris accused.

He waggled his fingers, "These are not spirit fingers!" With a small smirk, he phased his hands until they glowed white, "These are spirit fingers!"

"Really?" Fenris said, throwing his hands in the air, "I'm not even from this world and I've seen those movies! Come on, they're all over the television thing all night long, how have you missed them?"

....They..they were ice golems, Fenris. They.. probably didn't watch much television thing?

Fenris' turn to headtilt. He wasn't sure which one had spoken, so he replied to the mass in general. "Cheer It On and Dashdance. People fight, only with dance instead of weapons. There is," he assured the golems, "no singing from the characters. Just dancing."

That was important.

"I've seen one," Fenris answered, making a face, "It was awful."

Grease hadn't aged well with the times.

After a moment, he grudgingly added, "The ..cars..were nice. The people were terrible."

Fenris shrugged a shoulder, "That's possible. I have only seen the one."

He was almost curious. "There are better?"

"Are those on the television..thing?" Fenris inquired curiously. Not that he had spent much time looking for other musicals, but he did spend some time flipping through channels and watching the..entertainments..with a horrified sort of fascination.

"What's a Disney?" Fenris asked, baffled, "That's not like 'sick', is it? Supposed to be a compliment?"

Beau had confused him with that.

There was a bit of blank staring as Fenris tried to take that all in. "They make entertainments for the television thing," he repeated, "And some of them are musicals that are not terrible."

He.. wasn't sure that was possible.

Fenris took in that last part and then gave the golems a curious look, "Are you..from here, or are you visiting for the weekend?"
