It was still a little too chilly out for Vette's tastes, but not so bad that she couldn't handle spending some time outside, bundled in the adventuring gear she'd arrived on the island in and a fluffy sweater and the scarf and gloves that Sidon had given to her besides.

It was a shame that sweater was about to face the wrath of the scrapyard, because while this work was fun work, at least where Vette was concerned, it also happened to be kinda dirty work. She had put herself to work today, rifling through the collection of smaller electronic parts, and was picking out the ones that could be salvaged to stash away in a shed, mostly to keep them out of the elements, but at least partly so that she'd know where to go to find them if she decided she wanted first dibs.

Since there was a lot of stuff to go through (and she wanted to be thorough, pausing to repair any parts that she possibly could, replacing rusted wires and cleaning out damage from leaking batteries where necessary), she was confident she could make at least a couple of days out of this kind of work.

And she was looking forward to it.
