Furnado Animal Shelter; Friday [01/04].
So Prompto now had his very own doggo!
...well, okay, not really, technically speaking, he now had a doggo to take care of, which was just as good, really, especially considering the last time he'd taken care of someone else's doggo, it sparked the best thing to ever happen in his life. Soooooooo when Summer hadoh so handwavily because I'm lazy swung into the shelter that morning to explain the situation with Girl and whether or not he'd be interested in taking up the mantle, it was a no-brainer. He couldn't understand for the life of him why Summer wouldn't want to keep the job for herself, but, hey, he wasn't going to complain. He adored Girl, and she was so sweet and well-behaved, a lot like Tiny had been! Only...not tiny!
And he knew his roommate wouldn't even mind because he didn't even have a roommate anymore, so having Girl around would be doubly-nice. One: dogs were always great. Two: it was getting a little lonely in that room after being used to having Jason around. Which was funny, because he'd never even had a roommate before, but it was interesting how quickly you got used to something and how strange it was once that something was gone.
Even better? He was already at the shelter when this all went down, so it was a good thing this place was good about converting rupees to dollars, because Prompto was spending all his Hyrule-earned cash on making sure Girl had the best set-up in the whole dorms.
Well, not all. He was going to set aside a little to make a Get Well package for Nina after hearing her radio this morning, too. That he would send to her via squirrel. Because he'd rather not also get plagued, thanks.
