Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Friday [01/04].

Without any current jobs or projects, with the Crumbler all spruced up and spiffied out from her whole traumatic ordeal with the snowmen, Amaya found herself in that awkward spot that she hadn't been in for a while: idle. Which was interesting, because idle was more often the default around Daventry, but she'd been running busy 'round here since she practically opened the doors. It was a little weird coming down that morning and not entirely knowing what to do with herself. Well, there were always lesson plans, try to actually strategize for her class rather than just going in on whatever suited her mood that day. She wanted to put together a good project for Fjord to work on, too, 'specially now that he'd be on his own for most of his Wednesday now, but she didn't want to just hand him some busy work, it would be important to both of them that what he worked on was useful and had a purpose. And she figured she could always brush up on her own technicals, never hurt to spit out a new weapon or two for the wall and anyone coming in not looking for something so custom-made.

But that's when she noticed a crate there by the counter, one she hadn't remembered ordering and one she was pretty sure Fjord hadn't missed on Wednesday, because it hadn't been there yesterday, but a mystery crate was always a good way to chase off a little idle-hand boredom. She grabbed a crowbar and a hammer and made swift time in cracking it open to reveal a whole box just filled with a variety of old, dungeony-style padlocks.

"Well, then," she said to no one in particular, because there was no one there but maybe squirrels, "I think we know what we're doing today!"

Keys. It would be keys. And while the padlocks weren't actually locked onto anything, the mystery of getting the right key shape was all the fun, anyway. And, hey, if anyone wanted any old, cumbersome iron padlocks with bright shiny new keys, well, then, Amaya had you covered!

The Forge is open!
