Yesterday's spar with Beau had done a good job of putting some of that restless energy towards something productive. Today... today was apparently for going through reports regarding Caritas' supposed transformation in to an Olive Garden. Which Rosa had well in hand, it seemed.
So Liam went out for a quick patrol of the island, during which he found one of the raccoons set up near the docks selling, of all things, bootleg Portalocity credits. Liam hadn't actually known that was possible.
"You realize that's a terrible idea?" Liam asked the raccoon, after he finally managed to get it in to the station and the interview room (don't ask how). "Portalocity travel is already unreliable at best, and now you're introducing bootleg credits to the system? That's a real good way to end up with one of the students stranded on some world full of things that want to eat them, with no reliable way of getting back. Trust me, you don't want to be on the hook for that."
Yeah, so. There was a raccoon in the cells again. Hopefully no one had actually bought a portal from it during that particular short-lived commercial venture.
