Demon Marcus, Sunday
Sparkle was his usual size today. Which, really, Sparkle was actually pretty thrilled about, since it meant he was taller than everybody else for a change. Not that he was going to hold it over anybody today. In fact, he'd made a special run to the mainland, in spite of the stupid weather, and bought out all the doll clothes the nearest Target had to offer. When the cashier had given him a strange look, he'd just shrugged and informed the guy that he was donating them.
And so he was. He'd propped open the door of the clothing shop today with a chair, set out a few facecloths for people to dry off with if they actually managed to make the trip today - the weather was atrocious, he'd be impressed and mildly concerned if anybody was crazy enough to head out into that soup - and then took all the doll clothes out of the packaging and set it out just inside the door, where people didn't have to go far to get to it, but would also be out of the way of potential trampling in case anybody out there was still their regular size.
And then he put on some water for hot chocolate, because with the door propped open? It was unpleasantly cold in here today.
Demon Marcus was open with a little sign that reads, "Free Doll Clothes" outside, propped up against the wall on the sidewalk. Hopefully people don't mind cute skirts and cherry-print dresses, because doll clothes kind of tended to come with a particularly cutesy theme.

He checked the doll clothes, then shrugged and decided he was good as-is. A few more webs got him over to the counter, where he swung up to the top.
"Hey, Sparkle. How'd you luck out?"

"I've been here long enough and paid my dues," Sparkle replied, grinning down. "Oh god, Miguel, is that you?"
HE WAS SO CUTE.

"Ohmygod it'd be like being scratched by the tiniest kitten. That is so cute. You? Are so cute."
Who needed a filter?

"I'm still venomous, you know."

"If you bite me I'm so stuffing you into a jar with holes punched in the lid," Sparkle warned.

"I mean," Sparkle laughed, "I'd need tweezers to find the zipper right now, I think you're safe."

Miguel grinned and jumped up and landed on Sparkle's head, leaning down to look him in the eye. "Nah, these look fine."

A pause.
"No promises."

By digging teeny talons into Sparkle's scalp. So...maybe not really.

... Maybe they'd itch, though.
"Well, it's good to know I don't have to worry about you even when you're shorter than a pencil."

"Not bad for a guy who is like three peanuts tall," Sparkle mused, grinning.
