Today was shaping up to be one of those rainy, miserable spring days that turned everything underfoot into muck, and Vette was not enjoying the prospect of working outside in it at all. And so she put her usual scavenging project on hold, found her way into the office with a few odds and ends she'd grabbed last week and the probe droid chassis she'd found, and settled into a seat by the window, watching the rain come down while she worked on restoring it. There were parts of it that were beyond repair, but that wasn't going to stop her from cleaning it up.

And hopefully keeping it out of Chopper's sight. She didn't think for a moment that he'd be big on the idea of having another droid about, even if this one really was just a shell at the moment.
