Atlas Gym, Monday (1/28)
. . . well.
Hopefully no one coming to the gym today was here to use the ellipticals, because when Beau came in (still kind of hung over, but what else was new) to get everything ready to open, the ellipticals appeared to be made out of bread.
The hand grips and handle bars were baguettes, the pedals were French loaves, the frame was assembled out of zwieback, and a very large, flat soda bread made up the flywheel. Beau stared at them for a solid ten minutes before running her hand through her hair and walking away to deal with the rest of the thankfully normal equipment.
"There's probably some kind of joke here that I'm missing," she muttered, and just . . . went to go make sure the jumpropes hadn't turned into noodles or something like that.
The gym was open, but anyone with a gluten sensitivity might want to steer clear of that particular set of machinery.
[OOC: Post and gym are open! This is what happens when I post while hungry, I guess.]
