Community Center Class: Modern Earth Entertainment, Monday

Peter smiled and waved. "Since the muppets seemed okay with everyone last week, I thought we'd do something similar in form but really different in feel this week. It's a fantasy movie, and was really well-received when it came out. It's done with more muppets and costumes and everything, so there are no humans in it. Hopefully for some of you that'll be refreshing." He waved at the screen. "Enjoy."

And, really, that was on Amaya. After all, she hadn't predicted that there'd be meats on sticks this week, and therefor, they were all meat on stick-less. She was still fairly new to this power, you guys, she still hadn't completely gotten used to the severe consequences of this great responsibility...

She was still clearly very pleased and content with the usual popcorn as well. Just...you know...clear and obvious room for improvement, there.

Not that she had any doubt about it, really, but Amaya felt this was another good example on how she definitely preferred these so-called 'fantasy' movies a bit better than the more so-called 'modern' and 'contemporary' ones. Maybe not as much as the action ones; those, despite the settings, were likely to get the highest marks from her, but at least with these 'fantasy' worlds, there was a familiarity there that made up for the lack of explosions. The worlds were sometimes different, the rules varied a little bit, too, but they were far less different and mystifying to her than movies taking place in this world.

So, familiar-feeling setting, interesting story, a fair amount of action and exciting moments, barely any mushy stuff, no big musical numbers. Yup. Amaya could definitely be down with this one.
