The Holoscene, Friday

Mae was feeling lazy today, so instead of smashing things or rocking out, she had the holosuite simulate a train yard at night. The sky was bright with stars, and though the computer didn't quite have the exact layout of Mae's universe, it was close enough -- and Mae was a bad enough astronomy student -- that she could still pick out some of the important constellations from home. Like Mundy the Whale and Tollmetron the bell.

And the fish.

Every now and then, the simulation would send a train through, rattling the whole space and rumbling and whistling so loud it poured out the open doors and onto the street.

In case anyone wanted to come star-and-train-gaze with her.
