The Perk, Saturday Afternoon
Liam - he was reasonably certain his name was Liam, anyway, since most (though pointedly not all) of the ID he'd managed to find with his face on it had that name - still had no idea where he was, or what was going on.
Valerie? Verity? Whoever she was, had declared that she needed some time to herself, and Liam had obliged.
Except... he hadn't the slightest clue where he ought to go, so he'd settled for wandering around the town until he'd found a place that had hot beverages of some sort.
He'd waited his turn in line, asked the person standing at the counter for a recommendation, and received a beverage. There was just one small problem, apparently.
"Money?" he frowned at them. "I don't have any with me."

He walked in just in time to hear Liam's problem. Ah, hell. "I got it, Liam," he said. With a nod at the barista, "Two caramel mochas, extra whip - like, just empty the can between the two - and one large black coffee, please."
Back to Liam, "Do you remember anything?"

He hoped. Hi, Liam, have some relevant data.

He had a lot of questions, but let's start with that one.

But that also seemed like the kind of thing that would be a secret? And if this Kaidan, who said he knew him, didn't know about that, then perhaps he ought not to say anything?
So he just nodded. "Why will this 'blow over' by Monday?" he asked, instead.

"What is this?"
A latte, Liam. It was a latte.

"Add sugar," Kaidan told him, "It'll help."
Well, it would for him.
Remembered something. "Liam? If anyone offers you aspirin, Advil, or any sort of painkiller type pill? Don't take it. You're allergic as hell."
This is what you get for telling him that, Liam. But at least it reduced the chances you would get drunk from a Tylenol Cold and Sinus pill.

"This is just one coffee," she said to the barista. "I said all of it. I wasn't kidding."

“No?” Liam said, giving her a puzzled look. “Do I look like one?”

Since she didn't know who her leader was right now. Bonus to amnesia!

"... Do you know who my leader is?" he asked, instead.

One of the spaceships parked over at the junkyard belonged to him, but again, he didn't know that.
