Trooper Station; Monday [02/25].
On the one hand, not a whole lot had happened on the island while Rosa was gone for the school trip, which meant there wasn't a giant pile of paperwork waiting for her as she feared there might be when she got back to the station for her Monday desk shift.
On the other hand, not a whole lot had happened on the island while Rosa was gone for the school trip, which meant that the troopers had way too much time on their hands with regards to telling her about the only things that did happen.
"No, really," Rosa insisted. "I'm good with just reading the reports. You don't have to--"
But it was too late. They had planned for this, Rosa, they had been itching to tell you all about it.
In a clumsily perfromed, way too elaborate, complete with lyrics musical fashion. And they were only encouraged by the stunned look of confusion on her face, mistaking it for nothing less than awe and amazement, leaving her to sit there and wonder exactly where she'd gone wrong in her decision in life that would lead her up to this exact moment of very distinct and very depressing torture.
...why did she even come back, honestly.
