Fandom Post Office, March 5 (Tuesday)
Someone in town, it seemed, had some kind of contentious and very heated feud going with someone from their home universe, or perhaps a torrid long-distance love affair, or something. For the last several weeks Éponine had noticed letters going back and forth between the Fandom resident and their off-island, er, correspondent on a daily basis, but the frequency had ramped up as of late.
As evidenced by the full tray of interdimensional mail that consisted entirely of envelopes addressed to the off-island recipient, and the equally full tray of outgoing mail from the person who lived here on the island.
It was very hard for Éponine to resist trying to see if anything could be read through the envelopes, but luckily there was plenty to sort today, and it kept her busy enough.
She couldn't help laughing out loud every time she came across a new piece of mail that had to go into one of those two trays, though. As absurd as this situation seemed to have gotten, after all, what else was she supposed to do?
