All the flowers in the store had turned into one of three colors overnight: red, blue, and gold. This would've been completely fine, had Octavia not had a ton of orders for tomorrow's International Women's Day (because apparently that was a thing) that called for pink flowers.

So she was spending half her day calling people and exasperatedly telling them that yes, women actually did enjoy other colors, too. Such as red. And blue.

And especially gold, if some of the advertising in this time and place was anything to go by.
