Amaya was a woman on a mission that day, which meant that, uninterrupted, she was very likely about to spend the better chunk of her time in the shop so engrossed in her work that she'd start it with the morning light and end it by blinking up from her work and wondering when exactly it managed to get so dark out with the falling of the oncoming evening, and the only thing she'd have to show for the hours she completely missed passing her by was the developement of the metal she was working on from one state to another.

And what a state it would be! She'd dedicated herself that day to really getting the shape of the giant shuriken's blades angled for the best presumable flight, angled just right for proper lift and cutting through the air, and then getting to grinding out a wicked edge and making those edges shine. Good, hard, dedicated and repetative work, made all the more challenging by the awkward size and shape of the thing.

Just the kind of work she loved, really.
