Luke's Diner, Saturday
Today was a coffee day. Not that every day wasn't a coffee day, but today was definitely a coffee day. Miguel headed straight for the pot.
It was empty.
He glared at the cook.
"I'm not enabling your addiction," the cook said almost primly. "If you want to have some, you can get it somewhere else or drink decaf. There's no caffeine anywhere here."
"You do know we also have it for the customers?" Miguel pointed out.
"They could stand to quit, too."
Miguel sighed and facepalmed. "We are not serving decaf to everyone, I don't care what kind of kick you're on."

Oatmeal with strawberries, toasted walnuts, and skyr
Kale feta egg toast
