It appeared the chattering flowers had worn themselves out yesterday: today, the store was quiet again. It was the same in a less literal sense as well, since there weren't currently any urgent orders waiting to be filled.

And that suited Octavia fine. She was behind the counter, reading a book.

Sometimes, you deserved a quiet day at work.
